The National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO) has an opportunity to join a growing and dynamic team! Since 1995, NCCCO has developed effective performance testing standards for those working in and around load handling equipment, including cranes. NCCCO is the national leader in providing crane operator certification. We are committed to quality, integrity, and fairness in testing and have issued certifications in all 50 states.  NCCCO has offices in Murray, Utah, Fairfax, Virginia and Palm Harbor, Florida.

NCCCO has immediate openings for two Processor I positions in our Murray, Utah office.  These positions will provide specialized program support in the Testing Services Department, with general processing responsibilities including: processing candidate applications and payments, accurately maintaining certificate records, transferring data from paper documents to electronic format, working with clients in testing events and addressing questions that arise regarding the certification process.

Primary Responsibilities:

With close supervision, these positions will respond to and review exam applications - responding by email using standard templates.  Provide basic product and pricing information combined with processing payments, data entry, trouble shooting, and may use an online database to provide information, and track historical data.  Incumbents will have productivity goals in processing 40 applications per day at minimum while meeting published application timelines/deadlines.

Reporting Relationship:

One position report’s directly to NCCCO’s Computer Based Testing (CBT) Supervisor and the second position reports to the National Wireless Safety Alliance (NWSA) Supervisor.

Primary Duties of Processor I Positions

Data Entry

  • Maintaining/updating Candidate Processing System
  • Transferring written into electronic applications
  • Accurately enter, assess and interpret candidate records based on business rules
  • Create digital records from hard copy records for archival

Exam Processing

  • Review and log exams as they’re being received
  • Scoring completed written/practical examinations and reporting results to candidates.
  • Inputting reports into database; receive and approve requests
  • Scanning, filing, emailing, and mailing cards along with other materials

Payment Processing

  • Accepting and processing payments, refunds and adjustments
  • Correctly assessing exam and related fees, collecting payment and accurately recording payment into Candidate Processing System
  • Other duties as assigned or as needed

Education and/or Experience:

Preferred qualifications are: High School Diploma or equivalent and up to 2 years of relevant experience. Qualified candidates must have excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, customer service expertise and a great sense of professionalism in both attire and mindset.  A passion for and knowledge of the crane and crane-related industries is a plus.
