Ray Quinney & Nebeker P.C. seeks full-time Legal Assistant to work with litigation/bankruptcy attorney.Successful candidate must be detail-oriented, have excellent organizational skills, and understand the importance of professional conduct.

Duties:  Provide support to attorney; maintain filing system, contact list, and calendar; type handwritten or documents from dictation; format and proofread legal documents; draft routine correspondence and prepare documents and forms for attorney review; enter attorney time into billing system; proof client bills; and screen telephone calls and serve as liaison between attorneys and others inside and outside firm.

Qualifications:  High school degree required; college education preferred. Must possess excellent organizational skills, demonstrate proficiency in software, possess excellent written and verbal skills, be familiar with court procedures (including e-filings), and willing to work flexible hours to meet deadlines.  Minimum 5 years’ legal experience.  Type at least 85 wpm.
