Corporate Paralegal and Executive Assistant

Lighthouse Resources Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our Company as a Corporate Paralegal and Executive Assistant.  In this position, you will serve as a Paralegal to the General Counsel with regards to all business legal matters.  You will be responsible for the ongoing development, implementation, and operational management of Lighthouse's records management program.  

Corporate Paralegal and Executive Assistant Location: Utah, USA


The Corporate Paralegal/Executive Assistant provides a range of legal support and administration to the General Counsel.  This individual also provides assistance to other executives within the Company.  Specific responsibilities include:

  • Prepare correspondence;
  • Provide assistance in drafting and reviewing legal documents;
  • Maintain discovery indexes and collect information responsive to interrogatories and requests for production;
  • Check and edit legal forms and documents for accuracy;
  • Assist to ensure compliance with state, local, and federal regulations;
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining corporate legal procedures and protocols;
  • Assist with contract administration to ensure adherence to agreed terms and conditions;
  • Organize and maintain file system and other corporate records;
  • Maintain the latest version of all legal forms and templates;
  • Conduct research, analyze information, and prepare reports; and
  • Coordinate and arrange meetings, prepare agendas, reserve and prepare facilities, and prepare minutes of meetings.

Knowledge and skill requirements include:

  • 3 – 5 years of experience;
  • Experience drafting and reviewing a broad range of legal terms and agreements, preferred;
  • Two-year paralegal degree or comparable in-house legal experience;
  • Knowledge of records management techniques and practices;
  • Impeccable writing skills with attention to detail and accuracy, meticulous organization skills, and excellent verbal communication skills;
  • Strong research, analytical, and critical thinking skills;
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and contribute to a positive team environment;
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public; and
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
