Research Foundation/Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is seeking a contracts manager to supervise, mentor, and train contracting staff, review department work, and manage their own contract workload. The contracts manager is responsible for managing and conducting all phases of contract administration, including review of solicitations/RFPs, proposal preparation and review, contract negotiations, award administration, subcontract management, and contract closeout. In addition, the manager will be responsible for staying current on and ensuring internal compliance with federal government contracting regulations, associated federal operating constructs, and acquisition policy changes. The manager will be required to brief both internal and external customers on contracting-related issues in a credible and professional manner. The manager will report to and communicate nformation about Contracts Office activities to the Director of Program Services.
